Psychiatrist, Doctors Believe These 7 Videos Prove Donald Trump Has Dementia, Alzheimer’s or Mental Issues

They want the president’s cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment.

It’s no secret that we all like to poke a little fun at our current president’s slightly erratic behaviorBut some conspiracy theorists are having us believe that he might actually be dealing with some serious mentalhealth issues.

That’s right, the man who once had his personal physician declare him the “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency,” could be displaying signs of dementia. We found seven videos that show some questionable behavior of President Donald Trump.

1. He got lost in Poland.

While visiting Poland July 6, President Donald Trump seemed lost on stage — and Twitter did not let it go unnoticed.

In the video, Trump can be seen wandering around on stage and looking a little confused. And this isn’t the first time.

2. He couldn’t find his limo while getting off a plane.

Earlier this week the president had to be redirected back to his limo after walking away from it while getting off a plane. Conspiracy theorists are saying this behavior is evidence of sundowning, a symptom of Alzheimer’s disease also known as “late-day confusion.”

What does sundowning mean? People who are suffering from Alzheimer’s tend to get more confused and agitated in the late afternoon and evening.

Their symptoms may be less noticeable earlier in the day.

But it’s not just the people of the internet. While the state of Trump’s mental health has always been in question, real-life experts have said that there’s at least been a deterioration.

Earlier this year Health Web site STAT analyzed decades of Trump’s on-air interviews, spoke with psychologists, psychiatrists, and experts in cognitive assessment and concluded the following:

“The experts noted clear changes from Trump’s unscripted answers 30 years ago to those in 2017, in some cases stark enough to raise questions about his brain health. . . John Montgomery, a psychologist in New York City and adjunct professor at New York University, said “it’s hard to say definitively without rigorous testing” of Trump’s speaking patterns, “but I think it’s pretty safe to say that Trump has had significant cognitive decline over the years.”

3. He forgot to shake Netanyahu’s hand during his trip to Israel and wandered off.

That decline, conspiracy theorists say, is evident in instances like when Trump forgot to shake hands with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a visit to Israel.

As you can see in the video, Trump walks off camera despite Netanyahu reaching his hand out and attempting to pull the president back. It’s not until one of his secret service agents points him back on stage that he starts to get back with it. But even then, he looks confused.

While Trump’s random ramblings are the kind of stuff that memes are made of, the disconnect with reality is almost too hard to ignore when you put it on paper. Check out this interview with the Washington Post editorial board about using a tactical nuclear weapon against ISIS:

TRUMP: I don’t want to use, I don’t want to start the process of nuclear. Remember the one thing that everybody has said, I’m a counterpuncher. Rubio hit me. Bush hit me. When I said low energy, he’s a low-energy individual, he hit me first. I spent, by the way, he spent 18 million dollars’ worth of negative ads on me. That’s putting [MUFFLED]…

RYAN: This is about ISIS. You would not use a tactical nuclear weapon against ISIS?

TRUMP: I’ll tell you one thing, this is a very good-looking group of people here.  Could I just go around so I know who the hell I’m talking to?

And if that’s not enough, check out the following evidence.

4. He walked out of a ceremony before forgetting to sign an executive order.

5. He didn’t realize Rudy Giuliani was sitting directly in front of him.

 6. He confused Iraq with Syria in an interview.
All of his other disconnected comments that appear to be signs of dementia as well.

What is the 25th Amendment?

Concern has grown so much in fact, that some people are even calling to invoke the 25th amendment, which states that “icase of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the vice president shall become president.”

A section of the amendment says the vice president to assume powers if either the majority of the cabinet or such other body as Congress finds that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of office.

About two dozen Democratic representatives have signed on to a commission that would help to carry out a medical examination and determine whether the President was physically or mentally able to do the job.

While the state of mental health of our nation’s leader is still unclear, I think it’s safe to stay that the world is definitely keeping their eye on Donald Trump.

Donald Trump Just Got Caught Dozing Off During G20 Meeting; British PM Tells Him To Wake The F*ck Up

While attending a round-table meeting with global leaders this morning, British Prime Minister Theresa May had to nudge Donald Trump to wake up and pay attention, so that leaders can pose for cameras.

Dailymail caught the exchange on tape:

Trump’s trip to Germany is just another example of how much he has humiliated our nation.  Wandering off with Netanyahu, not focusing on the issues at hand or listening, his extreme paranoia, his uncertain and nervous behavior around reporters, his spatial disorientation, simplified vocabulary, constant repetition, missing his own security vehicle and now missing instructions to turn around at the meeting, and having a foreign leader have to babysit him is more proof that Trump is an unfit president. I mean just look at his face towards the end of the clip: the dazed and confused look says it all.

Trump Humiliated In Poland After Handshake Attempt Goes Horribly Wrong (VIDEO)

Donald Trump just got dissed so hard by the wife of Poland’s leader, that his fragile ego may never recover. Women in general make Trump cringe, just the thought of menstrual cycles makes him rant about bleeding women for months on end, but something about the wife of a world leader rebuffing his request for a handshake will surely make his blood absolutely boil.

Check out the video below as Poland’s Agata Kornhauser-Duda pretends she doesn’t see the president of the United States extend his hand, as if to gesture for a handshake. Instead, the woman keeps her eyes forward and aims for Melania, whom she happily embraces.

Melania is surely seen as the emotionally (at the very least) battered wife abroad that she is viewed as in the states, and the wife of Polish leader Andrzej Duda surely feels compassion for her delicate situation. To be filthy rich and live with a douchebag, or to be an independent woman and have to live among the commoners. The struggle is real.

Check out the hilarious video below via Twitter and watch Trump slowly react to being disrespected on camera.

And by a woman!

The Dictionary According To Donald Trump

My work as a freelance writer and copyeditor relies on the fact that people and businesses both need and want their writing to sound and look good. Whether it’s an email, a press release, a detailed report, or even a newspaper advertisement, putting your best linguistic foot forward creates a positive image for your brand. And that’s how I make a living.

In particular, politicians need to be meticulous in checking their correspondence and publications, for fear of being criticized or ridiculed by their opponents or constituents. The best leaders, political or otherwise, are poised, inspirational, well educated, and well spoken. They project confidence, even with their vocabulary.

Enter Donald Trump: the exception to every aspect of politics and leadership.

He has said: “I know words. I have the best words.

I beg to differ.

Not only does he NOT have the best words, half the time he doesn’t even have actual words at all. Never mind his numerous, never-ending grammatical errors, the President of the United State’s spelling (or misspelling, in many cases) is unbelievable. You might say it’s “yuuuugely” upsetting.

I began to compile a list of the words he has either misused, misspelled, or made up, but I soon found the task to be exhaustingly overwhelming. I guess I’m a lightweight. And so, below you’ll find a very incomplete, yet extremely effective, list of vocabulary mistakes used by the president.

1. Leightweight

Trump’s definition: We’re not completely sure.

True definition: Not a real word.

Lying Ted Cruz and leightweight chocker Marco Rubio teamed up last night in a last ditch effort to stop our great movement. They failed!”

Source: Giphy

Dude, it’s “i” before “e” except WHEN IT’S NOT A WORD.

2. Lightweight

Trump’s definition: A person I don’t like. Someone who is saying bad things about me.

True definition: One of less than average weight. -OR- One of little consequence or ability.

“Don Lemon is a lightweight – dumb as a rock.”

Source: Signature Cycles

I can’t say I’ve ever used this word to belittle someone, but it seems Trump likes it. He uses it all the time.

3. Tapp

Trump’s definition: A process through which other people have listened in on his phone calls.

True definition: Not a real word.

“How low has Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process.”

Source: Digital Bond

Maybe he was thinking muscially? Tap tap tappy tapp tapp. That’s how his favorite dance number goes. Obama was dancing around Trump’s telephone. Yep, that’s it.

4. Non-sense

Trump’s definition: Ridiculous.

True definition: Not a real word.

“This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hilary Clintons losing campaign.”

Source: Age of Autism

Why would you use a hyphen when you don’t need to? I feel like it’s actually MORE work to add a hyphen. So why bother?

5. Unpresidented

Trump’s definition: New, unexpected, never been done before.

True definition: Not a real word

“China steals United States Navy research drone in international waters – rips it out of water and takes it to China in unpresidented act.”

Okay. Yeah. You have the presidency on the brain. We get it.

6. Unproud

Trump’s definition: Not proud.

True definition: Not proud, modest, meek.

“I’m not unproud of it, to be honest with you.”

Source: Colette Paperie

This sounds like something my boyfriend would say. Speaking in double negatives does not make you sound smarter. And yes, this applies to Trump AND my boyfriend. Sorry babe.

7. Bigly

Trump’s definition: A large amount, a great deal.

True definition: In a big way, greatly.

“I’m going to cut taxes bigly, and you’re going to raise taxes bigly.”

Source: Quotes Gram

Okay, so it’s a word. But it’s NEVER used. And there’s no way he actually knew that it was a real word that is never used. Some say he meant “big league,” but I don’t see how that makes it any better.

8. Shoker

Trump’s definition: Something very surprising.

True definition: Not a real word.

“Big shoker! People do not like Ted.”

Source: Giphy

He also used the word “chocker” in another tweet. Wtf? Why are these common, easily spelled words so tricky for him?

9. Honer

Trump’s definition: Privilege.

True definition: Someone who hones, sharpens.

“I am honered to serve you, the great American People, as your 45th President of the United States.”

“Every poll said I won the debate last night. Great honer!”

Source: inUth

If it’s such a great honor, maybe you could spell it properly? How thankful and humbled can you possibly be if you can’t be bothered to take your time typing and pay attention to the autocorrect? TWICE?!

10. Braggadocious

Trump’s definition: Boastful.

True definition: Boastful.

“I have a great company. I have a tremendous income. And the reason I say that is not in a braggadociousway.”

I did not expect this to be a real word. If Merriam-Webster says it’s used so seldom that they don’t bother putting it in the dictionary anymore, I consider it to not be a word. And no, I’m not giving Trump the benefit of the doubt, thinking he knew it was/is a real word.

11. Schlonged

Trump’s definition: Defeated, beaten.

True definition: Not a real word

“But she was gonna beat – she was favored to win and she got schlonged.”

Source: Giphy

Even though it’s technically not a real word, most people would recognize the word Yiddish term “schlong” which means “penis.” So, he just said that she got hit with a penis. Awesome.

12. Department of Environmental

Trump’s definition: Department dedicated to caring for the environment.

True definition: Not a real department.

“The Department of Environmental. I mean, the DEP is killing us environmentally, it’s just killing our business.”

Did he mean “Department of Environmental Protection”? Because if you look it up, the Department of the Environment is something in Australia. He did use the DEP acronym but obviously doesn’t know what it stands for.

13. Small loan

Trump’s definition: Less than a billion.

True definition: 10 dollars.

“It has not been easy for me… My father gave me a small loan of $1 million.”

Source: YouTube

Seriously. How exactly does he think he’s appealing to the masses when he uses a statement like that?

14. Witchita

Trump’s definition: A city in Kansas.

True definition: Not a real word. Not a real place.

“My friend, & great businessman, Phil Ruffin is speaking today in Kansas for me at the Witchita Pachyderm Club.”

“The Donald J. Trump for President Campaign has just announced it will be in Witchita, Kansas for a major rally on Saturday prior to Caucus.”

Source: Flickr

Not once, but twice. Once from the man himself, and once from his campaign office. AND they spelled Kansas wrong. How?

15. Covfefe

Trump’s definition: Reporting, publishing, broadcasting.

True definition: Not a real word.

“Despite the constant negative press covfefe.”

Source: The Poke

He left the Tweet up there for about 6 hours before acknowledging the error. And even then, he didn’t acknowledge it like we thought he would. It may have been fun for us to joke about, but it’s just another nail in the Grammar coffin.

Honorable mention: Huge

Although it is neither a misuse, misspelling, or made-up word, it is certainly mispronounced. And overused. Kind of like George W.’s constant use of the word “folks” (although, at least he pronounced it properly), we’re getting kinda tired of Trump calling everything “yuge.” It’s funny, but we can be done now.

I think the Trump administration would benefit from my copyediting and proofreading skills, don’t you? I could be a yuge asset. Call me!

Video Leaked Of Trump Wandering Dazed And Confused On 4th Of July; Rumors Swirl

For months now, some of the nation’s top mental health experts have argued that President Trump is not functioning at 100 percent. More evidence that supports this argument surfaced on Tuesday, when Trump was caught on video wandering away from his limo after exiting Air Force One.

Image result for trump air force one stairs

The video, which can be seen below, shows Trump leaving the plane and then walking right past the limo at the base of the stairs. After he wandered a few yards away, he was directed back to the car and safely deposited inside. The voices of Trump and his aides are inaudible in the video, so it’s not certain what happened; however, it seems he didn’t realize the limo was right there waiting for him.

Some have suggested that the video shows Trump “sundowning,” or experiencing a symptom of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia that is characterized by heightened confusion in the afternoon and evening.

This is not the first time questions have arisen about Trump possibly suffering from dementia. In addition to what might be a newfound penchant for aimlessly wandering, psychologists have suggested that the change in Trump’s speech patterns might also indicate, at the very least, a “significant cognitive decline.”

New York City-based psychologist John Montgomery told the health website STAT last month that, while he can’t say “definitively without rigorous testing” that Trump is showing signs of dementia, he thinks it’s “pretty safe to say that Trump has had significant cognitive decline over the years.”

Montgomery added that the obvious change in Trump’s speech could be attributed to other factors like stress.

There is also a possibility that Trump’s strange behavior over the last few months — including his late night “Covfefe” tweet — indicates that he is suffering from severe sleep deprivation. Chris Winter, a neurologist who authored “The Sleep Solution” suggested that “something’s up” with Trump’s mental health, and a lack of sleep could be the culprit.

Whether it’s dementia, sleep deprivation, or some other condition, the video of Trump not noticing a limo that was parked right in front of him seems to pretty clearly indicate that he is not firing on all cylinders. Trump spent a good part of his presidential campaign saying that Hillary Clinton did not have the stamina necessary to run the country, but he doesn’t appear to be up to the challenge, either.

Trump Responds To North Korean Missile Launch By Threatening WWIII On Twitter

Image result for trump ww3

No, Trump, just no. The president took to Twitter this Monday evening to respond to the latest North Korean missile test launch, and his comments are absolutely ridiculous, revealing his almost childish approach to issues of foreign policy. With every one of his tweets like this, the question of whether or not Trump will start a war through his Twitter account becomes more and more relevant.

Trump wrote:

‘North Korea has just launched another missile. Does this guy have anything better to do with his life? Hard to believe that South Korea and Japan will put up with this much longer. Perhaps China will put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all!’

North Korea has just launched another missile. Does this guy have anything better to do with his life? Hard to believe that South Korea…..

….and Japan will put up with this much longer. Perhaps China will put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all!

Remember folks, this is a statement from the president of the United States of America. He is treating the issue of dealing with North Korea like it’s comparable to seeking to win a chess game. Earth to Trump: This isn’t a game. This is real life.

Suggesting that it’s “hard to believe” that South Korea and Japan will “put up with” North Korea’s belligerence much longer is volatile at best. Although we are already long allied with both of those countries, he’s seeming to throw weight behind the idea of these nations going to war with the North Koreans. Trump has certainly already shown himself open to, and even ready for, such a thing, having sent a U.S. Navy strike convoy to the waters off North Korea’s shore earlier this year.

All of this is in addition to the fact that Trump has revealed that he has basically no grasp on the basics of the situation in asking of the North Korean dictator, “Does this guy have anything better to do with his life?”

Let it sink in that this is the way that the American president has chosen to speak of a belligerent dictator hellbent on attacking the U.S. with nuclear weapons. It’s like Trump wants that to happen.

Twitter certainly thought that the president was well out of line with his tweets. Check out replies and takes on his tweets below.

My thing is, why doesn’t he immediately complete these thoughts? Does he not know from the start how he’s going to finish them?

@realDonaldTrump You TWEETING “Does this guy have anything better to do with his life?” is the absolute height of irony!

@realDonaldTrump Why can’t you ever take a diplomatic solution to things like this? Why do you have to TAUNT a crazed ruler with nuclear weapons?

@realDonaldTrump And worst of all, you don’t actually DO anything except talk like a big keyboard warrior on the internet!

@realDonaldTrump Do you have anything better to do than egging on WW3 on Twitter? Celebrating USA’s B-Day? Or working in the situation room?

@realDonaldTrump “Does this guy have anything better to do with his life?” is the rhetorical question Americans ask each morning. About you, Mr. President.

@realDonaldTrump US just went from Obama’s polished diplomacy to Trump provoking the most unstable world leader with mafia-style “this guy” tweets. But MAGA!

@realDonaldTrump Pushing South Korea, Japan & China to stand up to Kim Jong-Un using Twitter? We could do without this Reality TV approach to foreign policy.

….and Japan will put up with this much longer. Perhaps China will put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all!

@realDonaldTrump Remember when you’d 💩 on Obama when N Korea tested a missile? He’s been doing nothing but test missiles since you became prez.

@realDonaldTrump He sent an america back in a coma and you did nothing.

@realDonaldTrump You’re all talk, Donald. Every other nation is waking all over you. Every single one.

….and Japan will put up with this much longer. Perhaps China will put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all!

@realDonaldTrump Take tomorrow off Twitter and try to enjoy your last Independence Day as a free man.

Pro-Confederate Trump ‘Patriot’ Foolishly Shoots Himself At Racist Rally (VIDEO)

Trump supporters have their arguments for no gun control embarrassed with every day that passes. In fact, anti-gun control Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA) quickly changed his tune about regulations after his own life was put in danger at the hands of a shooter with known mental health struggles.

Nevertheless, the GOP and their base seem to care more about pushing back against the argument that there should be more control, than they do about protecting Americans from senseless gun violence. On Saturday, that senseless gun violence became self-inflicted for a Trump and Confederate supporting self-proclaimed patriot.

Twenty-three year-old Benjamin Hornberger of Shippensburg, PA was participating in a First Amendment demonstration in Gettysburg, PA when his revolver accidentally went off. Shooting himself in the leg, Hornberger was lucky that a National Park Service officer was nearby and able to apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.

Hornberger was transported to a local hospital, and there is no further information available about his condition, but it is also worth noting that the his gun is said to have been “old and not in good working order.”

There were a few hundred armed Sons of Confederate Veterans, members of the Ku Klux Klan, Trump supporters and other self-proclaimed patriots at the event. Some carried assault rifles as they marched across the battlefield looking for anti-fascist socialists who were supposedly going to come to disrespect Confederate graves, monuments, and flags.

Hornberger is suspected to have been part of one of the groups at the General George Meade Equestrian Monument to support the Confederate flag and protest the political activist group, Antifa. Representatives from Antifa had previously made it clear that they had no intentions of being present at the rally.

A post on one of Antifa’s social media sites said:

‘We want to make it very clear that this is most likely a fake event organized and promoted the same way the fake Houston rally was. The only event promotion has been for a counter rally of Trump supporters, biker dudes, and Civil War reenactors. Smells fishy.’

No Antifa group even applied for a permit.

A local news channel’s report on the shooting may be viewed below:

National Enquirer Kills A Major Story About Trump’s Dirty Extramarital Affairs

Image result for trump womanizer

The president has long been known for two things; the first of these being his sleazy approach to women and the second being his obsession with the news media and his public image.

In a story from the Wall Street Journal, these two issues converge in a way that incriminates the president as a shallow, incompetent fool big time. Apparently, in mid-2016, a Playboy model came forward with allegations that she’d had an about year-long affair with the then-presidential candidate back in 2006. Donald Trump was married, at the time, to his current wife, Melania.

The model, named Karen McDougal, approached at least two media organizations about running her story, the first of these being ABC and the second being American Media Inc., which owns publications including the National Enquirer. The Enquirer isn’t exactly a model of good journalism, but Trump has cited the publication in the past and he maintains a friendship with the head of AMI, David Pecker.

McDougal ultimately struck a deal with AMI, giving them exclusive rights to her story. The contract that McDougal signed with AMI doesn’t mention Trump by name, instead simply stating that AMI is hereby granted the rights to the story of “any romantic, personal and/or physical relationship McDougal has ever had with any then-married man.”

Here’s the thing, however. Neither AMI or the National Enquirer has published any story about the allegations that McDougal had an affair with Donald Trump while the latter was married to the current First Lady.

AMI has denied that they did anything wrong or even noteworthy in not publishing anything about McDougal’s alleged relationship with Trump, noting the vagueness of their agreement with McDougal. Still, of course AMI isn’t going to admit that they paid $150,000 to kill a negative story about Donald Trump, and McDougal is legally barred from discussing it outside of the National Enquirer or any other AMI owned publication.

People close to McDougal tell the Wall Street Journal that she has indeed confided to them about an alleged affair with Donald Trump in the past. Some of those close to her have quite detailed accounts of their take on the model and then-businessman’s alleged relationship. For instance, the Journal reports that a friend of McDougal tells them that she and McDougal were given special treatment by Trump when attending the 2006 Miss Universe pageant. This special treatment included him personally escorting them home.

People close to the situation also revealed to the Journal that McDougal thought that her story about Trump would be published when she signed the contract with AMI, but McDougal herself is, of course, legally barred from commenting.

For a Trump affiliated news outlet to have killed a story that could have damaged his presidential campaign is yet another hole in the already dead argument that the president is out to push for truth in the news media.

Recently, Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski alleged that the White House held a National Enquirer story about an alleged affair over their heads and demanded that they apologize for negative coverage of the president in order to keep the story from running. They did not apologize, and it would be ridiculous to think that the president and his allies seeking to bend the media to their will is going to stop anytime soon.

Trump Rants About Beating Up A ‘CNN Guy’ During Loony Sunday Morning Tweet

You’re not going to believe this. Alternatively, you may find very well find it believable coming from a man who has given us so many opportunities to become bewildered already.

Early Sunday morning, the president showed just how dangerously childish he really is. Remember, as you look at what he posted, this man is in charge of the most, powerful nation on earth and its nuclear codes.

Sunday morning, Trump posted a meme in video form. The short clip of footage is taken from way back when the man who is now president was routinely involved with WWE. (He’s friends with the couple who founded the WWE, the McMahons.)

In the clip, Trump participates in one of the WWE shows by tackling someone. The president, or someone on his team, has put a floating image of the CNN logo over the head of the person that Trump tackles. Thus, it’s as if Trump “tackled” CNN.

It’s really quite ridiculous. Check it out below.

The president’s latest round of raging against CNN comes after the network was forced to withdraw a story linking associates of his to a Russian investment fund. More recently, CNN aired an image of a National Enquirer story that was actually fake. Trump, who is friends with the owner of the National Enquirer, may have taken personal offense at that.

Twitter unsurprisingly shook its collective head at the president’s post.

Check it out below.

@realDonaldTrump I didn’t realize being a modern day president was similar to being a 14 year old child who googles Fake News.

@realDonaldTrump At least you use social media for good use. Glad you are sharing hilarious Fake News videos instead of highlighting veterans and soldiers.

@realDonaldTrump Maybe health care and tax reform should consume your day instead of finding childish videos online to share with millions.

@realDonaldTrump But it is what it is. Even though more people voted for Hillary you won. I would call you a clown but clowns make me laugh.

@realDonaldTrump How are we at the stage in human evolution where the president tweets violent, rightwing memes? Nothing you do shocks me any more.

@realDonaldTrump Imagine how mortified we’d all be if President Obama had done anything so uncouth & undignified? With you it’s part & parcel of daily life.

@realDonaldTrump The US President isn’t working on jobs. He isn’t trying to keep America safe. He is making a childish video where he beats up CNN’s logo

@realDonaldTrump This is pathetic behaviour. This is not how a President is supposed to act. This is the sort of thing a child would tweet

Congressman Moves To Invoke 25th Amendment; Trump Would Be Removed As President

Even if you set aside Trump’s involvement with Russia, the fact that he is preparing a basket of deliverables for Putin, and his sheer incompetence on issues that a President should be prepared for, Donald Trump is still unfit to be the President of the United States. And now, Congress is preparing a commission to remove him from office.

Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland has forwarded a bill that would make it possible to remove a sitting president if he was deemed mentally unfit. This bill would uses the legal authority granted in the 25th Amendment of the Constitution which provides for the Vice-President to temporarily serve as the POTUS if the majority of the President’s cabinet determines that the President is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of office.”

Raskin is looking to create and eleven-member commission that would be composed of psychiatrists and physicians that would conduct a series of medical exams to determine if the President is capable of fulfilling his/her oath of office.

According to Raskin’s proposal, the commission would also be comprised of two former, high ranking US officials. This would allow for the input of former presidents, vice presidents, former secretaries of state and/or attorneys general.

The 25 Amendment provides for the decision to remove a President based on a majority of the President’s Cabinet or “such other body as Congress.” The congressman is looking to utilize his commission to serve as that “body.”

The commission would require a two-thirds majority of Congress to have their recommendation enforced. The President could appeal the decision of the commission and without two-thirds approval of Congress, the President would be able to assume the office.

Raskin cited Donald Trump’s recent Twitter tirade as the driving force behind his push. Over the last few days, the President has engaged in a Twitter war with MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

Trump was roundly condemned by members of both parties.

Clearly, Trump did not care one bit about what his own party members said. Saturday morning, he doubled-down on the insults with a new attack on the MSNBC duo:

Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!

Trump’s behavior has been beyond the pale. It’s clear that he is not only not competent enough to serve as president, he is not mentally mature enough to fulfill his oath of office and there isn’t a day that goes by that he doesn’t further reduce the respect and dignity of the office of the President of the United States.

Raskin’s proposal is certainly a long-shot. However, it would provide Congress and the President’s cabinet a way to remove Trump from office without them having to directly to it. It would also serve as a means of removing Trump without impeachment proceedings.

So the possibility of this succeeding is not completely unfathomable. If Donald Trump becomes two great a liability for Republican lawmakers, it is not inconceivable that Republicans would look for a way out.

And if Republicans ever stop placing party over country, the reality of Trump’s incompetence and lack of mental maturity should serve as evidence enough that he needs to be removed from office.
